PILATE

Pilatus, Lucerne's local mountain, is a popular destination.

Take the steepest cogwheel train in the world (up to 48% incline) to Pilatus Kulm.

Or float the panoramic gondola lift from Kriens to Fräkmüntegg. From there, switch to the “Dragon Ride” cable car, which will take you to the Pilatus Kulm summit in just a few minutes.

A visit to Mount Pilatus can be ideally combined with a pass ride in the Gotthart massif or a visit to the lighting city of Lucerne.

TITLIS

After driving through the Engelberg Valley, the Titlis experience starts in Engelberg and takes you on a combination of a gondola lift and the world's first rotating TITLIS Rotair aerial cable car in around 30 minutes to 3,020 meters above sea level, where experiences such as the Cliff Walk suspension bridge and the glacier grotto await. A visit to the Titlis can be ideally combined with a pass ride in the Gotthart massif or a visit to the lighting city of Lucerne.

RHINE FALLS

At 150 meters wide and 23 meters high, the Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen are the largest waterfall in Europe and offer an impressive natural spectacle.

Highlights & activities include the popular “rock trip” by boat. This takes you directly to Mittelfelsen, where you can climb over 100 steps to a 30-meter high viewing platform in the midst of the masses of water.

On the south bank, Laufen Castle towers over the waterfall. The northern shore at Schlössli Wörth is accessible free of charge around the clock all year round and offers an ideal photo backdrop.

After traveling through the beautiful Appenzell countryside, the actual ascent to the Hoher Kasten begins with the aerial cable car.
